【摘要】:Samplinginspectionpermitstheestimationoftheoverallqualityofagroupofproductarticlesthroughtheinspectionofarelativelysmallnumberofproductitemsdrawnfromthegroup.Theselectionofasamplingplanprovidespurchasersandsellersameansofidentifyingtheminimumqualitylevelsthatareconsideredtobesatisfactory.Becausesamplingplanswillonlyyieldestimatesofthequalityofaproduct,theresultsoftheinspectionaresubjecttoerror.Throughtheuseofsamplingplans,theriskoferrorisknownandcontrolled.1.1ThistestmethodgivessamplingplansthatareintendedforuseintheinspectionofmetallicandinorganiccoatingsforconformancetoASTMstandardspecifications.1.2Theplansinthistestmethod,exceptasnoted,havebeenselectedfromsomeofthesinglesamplingplansofMIL-STD-105D.ThespecificplansselectedareidentifiedinTables1-3ofthistestmethod.TheplanofTable4,whichisusedfordestructivetesting,isnotfromtheMilitaryStandard.ThisstandarddoesnotcontaintheMilitaryStandard''srequirementfortightenedinspectionwhenthequalityhistoryofasupplierisunsatisfactory.1.3Theplansarebasedoninspectionbyattributes,thatis,anarticleofproductisinspectedandisclassifiedaseitherconformingtoarequirementplacedonit,orasnonconforming.SamplingplansbasedoninspectionbyvariablesaregiveninTestMethodB762.Variablesplansareapplicablewhenatestyieldsanumericalvalueforacharacteristic,whenthespecificationimposesanumericallimitonthecharacteristic,andwhencertainstatisticalcriteriaaremet.TheseareexplainedinTestMethodB762.1.4Theplansinthistestmethodareintendedtobegenerallysuitable.Theremaybeinstancesinwhichtighterorlooserplansoronesthataremorediscriminatingaredesired.AdditionalplansthatmayservetheseneedsaregiveninGuideB697.Also,GuideB697describesthenatureofattributesamplingplansandtheseveralfactorsthatmustbeconsideredintheselectionofasamplingplan.MoreinformationandanevengreaterselectionofplansaregiveninMIL-STD-105D,MIL-STD-414,ANSI/ASQCZ1.9-1979,Refs(1-7),andinGuideB697.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
