【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverspoly(vinylchloride)(PVC)flexiblesheetingwhichisusedwithoutmastic,bedding,orcoatingforconstructionofconcealedwater-containment-membranesinapplicationswherethereispotentialforcostlysecondarydamagefromwaterleakageandverylong-termreliableperformanceisessential.Examplesarefountains,pools,planters,showerandsafepans,tiletubs,orsimilarwetinstallationswherethemembraneisinaccessibleoncetheconstructioniscomplete.Includedarerequirementsformaterialsandsheeting,testmethods,workmanshipcriteria,andmethodsofmarking.1.2RecycledmaterialsmaybeusedinthisproductinaccordancewiththerequirementsinSection5.1.3Thetestsareintendedtoensurequalityandperformanceandarenotintendedfordesignpurposes.Testshavebeenselectedtobeconductedprimarilywithliquidsthatsimulatetheenvironmenttowhichthemembranewillbesubjectedduringactualuse.1.4Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverwater-containmentmembranesexposedtoultravioletlight.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.1.7Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section13,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
